Artist Profile - Peter King

Artist Blacksmith Peter King hails from Yorkshire. He moved to Hereford to study blacksmithing at the Hereford College of Technology. The College has an excellent reputation for its teaching of blacksmithing and is widely sought.

After college Peter went on to work for and continue his training with a famous blacksmith in the Brecon Beacons. He worked on the restoration of Windsor Castle and the Albert memorial at this time.

Peter lives and works in Herefordshire, the beautiful landscape and gardens inspiring his work. He has contributed many of his sculptured seats and arbours, not to mention decorative gates and balustrades, to some of the beautiful gardens of the area. He also shows at the Malvern Show.
